Are you motivated by winning new business, taking ownership of your results and working in an international environment where your contribution makes a real difference?
Knowledge Gate Group (KGG) is looking for an ambitious Account Executive to strengthen its international sales team in Copenhagen.

If you combine a hunter mentality with a strategic approach to sales, we would love to hear from you.
About Knowledge Gate Group
Knowledge Gate Group is an international company connecting organisations with specialised expertise and valuable market insights.
KGG helps clients access the knowledge they need to support research, understand complex markets, develop products and make better-informed business decisions
Its clients include global pharmaceutical companies, biotech organisations, life sciences businesses and consulting firms operating in these industries.
With an international team, an entrepreneurial mindset and ambitious growth plans, KGG offers a dynamic working environment where ideas are welcomed, decisions are made quickly and employees have the opportunity to influence the company's development.
The culture is collaborative, informal and performance-driven, with a strong emphasis on individual responsibility and shared success.
The opportunity
As an Account Executive, you will play a central role in expanding KGG's international client base.
Your primary focus will be generating new business by identifying relevant organisations, understanding their challenges and connecting with decision-makers who can benefit from KGG's services.
"This is not about making hundreds of generic sales calls. It is about understanding your market, identifying the right opportunities and having meaningful commercial conversations".
You will receive support from the Business Development team and access to an initial portfolio of target companies and contacts. However, your success will depend on your ability to take initiative, conduct your own research and build a strong pipeline.
Once you win a client, the relationship remains yours. You will be responsible for developing that account, identifying additional opportunities and building long-term partnerships.
You will report directly to Lee Bourke, Head of Sales, who combines a supportive, hands-on leadership approach with clear expectations for commercial performance.
Your key responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities with international organisations.
Build and manage your own sales pipeline through strategic prospecting and targeted outreach.
Research potential clients, market developments and relevant buying signals.
Engage with senior stakeholders and decision-makers across global pharmaceutical, biotech and consulting organisations.
Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact and discovery meetings to proposals, negotiations and closing.
Collaborate with the BDR/SDR team to develop qualified opportunities.
Build and maintain your own client portfolio, driving repeat business and identifying opportunities for account expansion.
Maintain a structured approach to pipeline management, forecasting and CRM activities.
Contribute to the development of KGG's commercial strategy and sales performance.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys selling.
You are ambitious, commercially curious and motivated by the opportunity to create results through your own efforts.

What matters most is your commercial mindset, ability to learn and proven motivation to win new business.
Danish language skills are not required.

Understands the value of preparation and personalised outreach.
Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment where priorities can evolve quickly.
